Daste saffron

زافران دسته or bunch saffron (Bunch Saffron), saffron contains stigmas with a whole style from the tip of the dark red threads to the yellow tail. This saffron is available in bunches, which is why it is called bunch saffron. The threads are grouped in one-sided and two-sided. In the one-sided arrangement, the stigmas are arranged on top of each other and the yellow parts are placed on top of each other. In the two-sided arrangement, the stigmas are on both sides and the yellow part is in the center. In the two-sided arrangement, since the yellow part is in the middle, the stigma is more attractive.

A bunch or cluster of saffron is a full-bodied saffron flower that consists of the flower head, the jewel, the rosary and part of the root, and the color of its upper parts is red and the color of its lower parts is white. Contains vitamin C, magnesium, iron and vitamin B6. It has an antidepressant and uplifting effect. In traditional Iranian medicine, saffron is used as a painkiller, foaming agent, sexual stimulant and mosaic.

Cluster saffron is the most basic type of saffron, consisting of a complete saffron thread (including the stigma and the yellow part). The yellow part is usually 1 to 2 mm long, and the stigma can be longer or shorter depending on the quality of the saffron. Since these types of saffron threads are collected by women, they are also called virgin saffron or cluster saffron. Cluster saffron is classified by the National Standards Organization into grade 4 saffron and also standard 1 to 4. The coloring power of saffron is between 1 and 2 units.
