Ziziphus is a tree up to 2 meters high with small, heart-shaped leaves and drawn with three prominent veins that turn the earrings into thorns. Ziziphus fruit is edible. It is rich in vitamin C and rich in vitamin B, E and contains calcium, phosphorus and iron.
