Katira, Biaza, Kam, Pillow of Lovers, Maswak Al-qiad, Qaryn, Katira grass,and Gavan are the different names of this plant. Harvest time is early summer to late Shahrivar. The color of this honey is pale yellow. Its nature is warm. The price of honey depends on the conditions and difficulties of honey production in mountainous regions, economic conditions of the country, supply and demand in the market. Honeycomb is the most desirable type of honey in Iran. This honey tastes good and has many medical and medicinal benefits. This honey is mostly used for breakfast and increases the energy of the body. Honey is very useful for strengthening the stomach, kidney disease and joint pain.
